Q: What vaccinations must my pet have before coming in?
A: All pets must be current on vaccinations before they will be admitted to the kennel. When making a reservation, we’ll ask for the name of your veterinarian and we will contact them regarding vaccination dates. Some veterinarians are unable to provide vaccination dates due to the most recent HIPAA law. Accordingly, it’s a good idea for you to check with your veterinarian to make sure your pet is current on all vaccinations to avoid any last-minute delays. Remember, all first-time vaccinations must be given at least 7 days prior to boarding. We’ll try to contact you at least one week prior to your pet’s stay if your pet needs an update on vaccinations.

- Current on vaccinations for rabies, bordetella, DHLPP
- Non-aggressive and not overly protective
- Free of fleas

Q: What are your reservation and payment policies?
A: We accept reservations as far as one year in advance. If you need to cancel a reservation, we ask that you do so at least 48 hours in advance. We do require a $50 deposit for all major holidays. A $50 fee may be assessed for late cancellations. All charges must be paid in full when you pick up your pet.
For payment, we accept personal checks, cash and credit cards (Visa and MasterCard). Clayton Pet Hotel & Spa will not release your pet to anyone other than the owner, unless specific instructions from the owner are requested otherwise.
